Local Entrepreneurship & Development Company (L.e.a.d. Co.) was founded in 2006. Initially, the focus of the company was strictly on business development. The company created business plans, proposal packages, public relations materials, strategic plans, basic web sites and aided customers in completing all of the documents necessary to get their business going.

The goal was to provide small businesses with all of the tools they needed to be successful. The philosophy was simple, with the proper assistance any and every business could be successful. Consultants also provided customers with financial plans and objectives to reach their business goals. From interacting with clients however, M.L. Hodges (founder of L.e.a.d. Co.), realized the tremendous need for technology integration into the daily operations of small businesses. In early 2007, the company expanded their service offerings to include database driven sites, online storefront technology and online education technology integration for small businesses.

Since then, L.e.a.d. Co. has reinvented itself as primarily a technology company that uses web based innovations to advance the mission and goals of small businesses and start-ups. The company is now a tech relations firm, meaning they use the latest in technology to integrate innovative marketing and public relations strategies into the daily operations of the customer environment.
